I felt like a princess arriving to a ball but
it was not any kind of ball, it was a ball organized for an amazing
cause—donating new products (from fashion to toys to books) to children struck
by poverty and tragedy—hosted by K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, Inc.
This amazing non-profit was founded 30 years ago and unites retailers,
manufactures, and individuals to support our most precious angels—disadvantaged
children. In fact, since 1985, over $1.2 billion of donated products have
reached children in need.
I tend to think that the old saying “the secret to living is giving” is entirely true; thus, whenever possible try donating, or volunteering your time to amazing non-profits like K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, where donating as little as a piece of clothing, a toy or a book can make such a difference in a child’s life. Below are the photos from the wonderful gala organized by K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, which took place at the Natural History Museum in Uptown, New York. The setting was magical, and for a moment, I almost felt like it was a Night at the Museum except none of the characters came to life, well not at least until midnight. Until next time, from New York with love.
