Autumn is one of our favorite seasons of the year with all of the leaves turning into golden and maroon hues, the holiday festivities knocking on the door, and the fall fashion bringing so much glamour and excitement We took the opportunity on this gorgeous sunny fall day to go to Central Park and capture some of the autumn foliage. On our way we spotted a charming church, which has a very typical architectural style for the Upper West Side, right across the Central Park.
To keep us snug and fashionable, we found a few amazing knitted sweaters from this Irish boutique Aran Crafts. Its knits are superb as the entire brand focuses on sweaters; I am wearing a charcoal double collar coat (soft 100% marino wool); Amra is wearing multicolored jacquard coat with 3/4 length batwing sleeves. Knits are amazing because they lend themselves to be easily paired with just about anything from jeans to professional attire. Also, I prefer them anytime over bulky jackets in the fall. They help keep me warm, comfortable, and add that effortless chic to any look.
Full outfit details: Amra is wearing a silk blouse from Tory Burch, jeans and hat from H&M, bucket bag from Yves Saint Laurent, lace-ups from Zara, and Donegal tweed yarn knit by Aran Crafts; I am wearing a pleather skirt with lace from H&M, booties with cut-out and metallic buckle from Zara, and a charcoal long knit by Aran Crafts. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did shooting them. Until next time, from New York with love, xoxo.
